Today Polestar is Volvo's electric vehicle division but only a few years ago it was the company's skunkworks performance line. Only 265 V60 Polestar Wagons made their way to the USA and it is the only year for the sweet, throaty sounding 6-cylinder engine. The twin-scroll turbocharged, DOHC 3.0L inline 6-cylinder turns out a hefty 345 hp and 369ft lbs of torque! The transmission a 6-speed Geartronic automatic w/ paddle shifters and you get Polestar calibrated AWD w/ instant traction. The rest of the tech is very high spec including 6 piston Brembo brakes, 2.5" stainless exhaust system, Polestar hlins shock absorbers that use 80-percent stiffer springs, carbon fiber front strut brace. All of this plus being that it is a Volvo, the car is classified as an ultra low emissions vehicle, because nobody wants to melt any more glaciers. The exterior is finished in a vibrant Rebel Blue paint work with special badging and 20-inch wheels. Inside the car is a luxury cabin but splashed with a sporty character including aluminum and carbon fiber trim, black leather with Alcantara accents and blue stitching. Electronic features consist of Harman Kardon sound system, xenon lighting, rear camera, adaptive cruise control, driver aids-lane assist,blind spot active alert, road sign display, and collision warning w/ auto full braking. For cold climates you get heated front and rear seats, steering wheel, mirrors, and washer jets. This 2016 V60 Polestar Wagon was sold new at Volvo San Francisco and has always been a West Coast owned car. Only 39k miles have been accumulated and it still shows like new both inside and out. The car comes to us from a local collector and car enthusiast who had the car wrapped in Matte Clear Xpel film for paint protection and to give it a more stealthy look the roof was wrapped in black and the windows were tinted. The car has been very well maintained and cared for and is a true modern classic. Included with the Polestar are 2 remote keys, original owner's manual set, clean CarFax report, copy of the window sticker showing an original MSRP of $62,540, as well as all weather floor and cargo mats.
